ELECTRODYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF MICROWAVE ELEMENTS AND ASSEMBLIES CONTAINING FLAT-CROSS HETEROGENEITIES IN WAVEGUIDES OF COMPLEX SECTIONS

Abstract

The parameters in the single and consecutive-arranged flat-cross heterogeneities (FCH) of thin diaphragm type, flat-cross joints and shifts in the waveguides of complex sections (WCS) in the single- and multimode conditions have been investigated. The high-accurate method for design of the insulated FCH and selective assemblies on FCH in WCS has been developed on base of the variational method and method of the integral equation. The program complex on the language TURBO C++ for the IBM-compatible personal computers has been created according to the developed algorithm. The fields in WCS were designed by a method of numerical treatment taking special features on the rib into consideration. The design of the large quantity of the structures on FCH in WCS has been made, and the new physical effects connected with diffraction, resonance and bandpass filtration phenomena have been discovered. The results of the designs were used at the Scientific-Production Association "Istok", a.o.
