PREDICTION OF LIFE OF SPINDLE JOINTS OF WIDE-STRIP MILLS ACCORDING TO CRITERION OF FATIGUE STRENGTH AND TO WEAR (BY EXAMPLE OF 2500 gp MILL)

Abstract

There the purposes are to develop the prediction methods of reliability and longevity of members of spindle joint and of joint on the whole as well as to optimize its maintenance. The methods of statistics and probability theory, of reliability theory, the Markovian chains and the present-day scientific methods of maintenance theory have been applied to solve the problem about the distribution mechanism of life of hinge members according both to the fatigue criterion and to the wear at the same time. The life and the reliability of spindle joint have been predicted according to two criteria (the fatigue and the wear) at the same time. The stochastic models of state of bronze inserts according to wear have been constructed with use of Markovian chains. The schedule of preventive maintenance with regard to the parametrical and strength reliability has been presented.
