STUDYING FEATURES OF FUEL FEED AND EFFICIENCY OF DIESEL ENGINE AT FRACTIONAL LOADS AND FUEL HEATING

Abstract

Complex studies of the effect of the heating temperature of a low-viscous fuel on the processes occuring in the high- and low pressure fuel systems and in the Diesel engine cylinder in the conditions covering practically the entire range of the fractional loads have been made. Factors determining the organization of the fuel feed process at a fuel temperature increase in the low-pressure system have been established. A mechanism defining the influence of the heating up on the entire range of its physical properties, on the mixing and combustion processes and the efficiency of the Diesel engine has been revealed.
