Lectin extracted from beans growing in georgia and effect produced by phytolectins on hydrocarbon metabolism in chondrocytes

Abstract

The researchers have pioneered in isolating lectin from beans growing in Georgia and purifying and describing the obtained lectin, revealing the fact that the first form of RNA-polymerase manifests the highest activity in the brain of rodent neonates and observing the intensive growth of the extracellular matrix involving chondriocytes under the influence of SonA. Furthermore, the researchers have discovered the agrecane bonding sections and formulated a bonding mechanism hypothesis. The disclosed hypothesis of the contemplated mechanism of the effect produced by SonA on the hydrocarbon metabolism of chondrocytes may in future prove of practical importance, insofar as it contributes to the skill of controlling the chondrocyte function, which is essential for combatting severe pathology of connective tissues.
