The work is aimed at studying the genetic and morphological features of the food and fishery qualities of the local not pedigree Ropshinsk and Deutch carps as well as their hybrides to be grown up under the Estonian conditions and determination of directions in their further selection work with the carp in Estonia. For the first time, the genetic flocks of the local, Ropshinsk and Deutch carps in Estonia on the basis of the repair-tender flock has been given: in the composition of the genetic fund and frequencies of allels of the polymorphic proteins, the local and Deutch carps are relatively akin and are the tipical representatives of the European carps while the Ropshinsk carp differs from them a little. For the first time, a comparative study of the breed of the carp groups to be studied by the complex of the fish-breeding, consumer and morphological indicators has been performed: the Ropshinsk carp posesses the higher (under Estonia conditions) in comparison with the local and Deutch carps, indicators of the vitality, winterhardy and growth with the pure pedigreed breeding and with the crossing with the local and Deutch carps. A wide introduction in the industry of the pond farms of the Estonia of the Ropshinski carp and its hybrids with the local and Deutch carps has been offered. These suggestions have already been introduced in the Ilmatcalusk fish-farming as well as in the farms of the Republic, this fish farm provides them with the maggots. Breeding of the Ropshinski carp and its hybrids allows to increase the maggot outlet with respect to the total quantity of the incubated caviar by 13.8 percent, outlet of the one-year fish from the wintering by 50 percent, outlet of the two-year fish by 76.5 percent, the mass of the yearling by 54.1 percent and the theoretical fish productivity of the two-years fish by 10.1 percent as compared with average indicators of the local carpAvailable from VNTIC / VNTIC - Scientific & Technical Information Centre of RussiaSIGLERURussian Federatio
