INCREASE OF VIBRATION RESISTANCE OF WORKING SYSTEM OF LATHE BY USE OF CUTTING TOOLS WITH CHANGING STIFENESS

Abstract

There the comprehensive mathematical simulator which describes the dynamics of turning process by the tool with changing stiffness has been developed; the opportunity to rise the vibration resistance of system by change of dynamic characteristics of tool has been confirmed by theory and by experiment. The construction of cutting tool, which provides for adaptation of dynamic characteristics for the real conditions of machining, the number of spacers, which are recommended for practical use in turning, which were evaluated under the working and pilot-scale conditions, have been developed. The cutting tool has been introduced in pilot production, in the Bryansk Locomotive ShedAvailable from VNTIC / VNTIC - Scientific & Technical Information Centre of RussiaSIGLERURussian Federatio
