ANODE POROUS IRON-ORE MATERIAL FOR PRODUCING IRON POWDERS BY ELECTROLYSIS

Abstract

The laws of magnetodynamic separation of an iron-ore concentrate from silica, as well as those of compacting multicomponent anode charges have been established; a compaction equation has been obtained. The features of thermal treatment of anode mouldings have been determined; the process parameters of their preparation have been optimized. The use of the created anode material has been proved to be efficient at producing iron powders by electrolysis as a result of the reduction of the energy comsumption and the cost of processed iron-containing raw materials.
