ANALYSIS OF VIBROACOUSTIC KAMAZ ENGINE CHARACTERISTICS AT GAS FUEL OPERATION

Abstract

The procedure of diesel engine converting into the gas engine with spark ignition and also the experimental analytic investigation method of the noise from operating process have been developed. A possibility to improve the acoustic characteristics of the gas engine in comparison with diesel at keeping power indices has been shown by an experimental way. The sufficient improvement of passing an operating process of the gas engine in comparison with base engine from the point of view of acoustic has been revealed. The recommendations on the organization of operating process and its acoustic analysis have been introduced in the Joint Stock Company "KamAZ"Available from VNTIC / VNTIC - Scientific & Technical Information Centre of RussiaSIGLERURussian Federatio
