DISTRIBUTION OF OWN VALUES OF ELLIPTIC DIFFERENTIAL OPERATORS IN LIMITING-CYLINDRICAL REGIONS

Abstract

The spectral asymptotics calculation for elliptic differential operators with variable coefficients, given in limiting-cylindrical regions of a finite measure, is the aim of the paper. As a result the spectrum asymptotics of non-self-conjugate elliptic degenerating differential operators with non-smooth matrix coefficients in limiting-cylindrical regions of a finite measure has been obtained. The corresponding auxiliary parabolic equation has been investigated.
