THE BIOCHEMICAL MARKERS IN THE TAXONOMY AND POPULATION GENETICS OF GEESE, KINS ANSER AND BRANTA

By Sergey Borisovich Kuznetsov

Abstract

For the first time revealed and described have been 10 polymorphous proteins and esterase of the blood plasma, adenozindeaminase and glycozophosphatisomerase of erythrocytes. The data about structure of the genic loci, coding these proteins, and about the mutation processes, bought to the detected genetic variety, have been obtained. Revealed and described have been the kin- and species-specific markers, allowing to use them as the taxonomic marker signs. On the base of the obtained data, a comparison of two sympathetic populations of a small white goose from the island of Vrangel has made, and the hypothesis about the forecoming allopatry of these populations has been confirmedAvailable from VNTIC / VNTIC - Scientific & Technical Information Centre of RussiaSIGLERURussian Federatio
