Abstract

The investigation is concerned with heat power plants, heat power and reactor sections of the plant with a promising steam-and-water reactor (PVER) featuring increased safety. The purpose of the work is to develop the procedures for optimization of the systems and parameters of nuclear power plant units with due regard for reliability and safety, engineering limitations and links with the external systems; to develop a program-and computing complex; to carry out technical-and-economic investigations of plants with the PVER reactors. The author has developed an approach to the complex modelling of promising power plants with due regard for main properties (efficiency, reliability, safety), the procedure for evaluation of the characteristics of equipment reliability and reactor safety. account.
