ELECTRON SPECTRA AND DYNAMICS OF CRYSTAL LATTICE WITH JAN-TELLER IONS

Abstract

The investigation objects are the perovskite-similar dielectric fluorides and oxides containing the Jan-Teller ions Cu*99+ and Cr*99+ and also more simple crystals with face-centred lattice and rutile structure. The aim is to develop the single approach to the analysis of the properties in the Jan-Teller crystals in the strong Jan-Teller bond is realized and to apply this approach for investigation of the perovskite-similar compounds with 3d-ions. The theoretical base of this approach is the firstly-proposed and substantiated model for energy of the Jan-Teller crystall. Within the frames of the given model except two-partial interactions the energy contains the multipartial contribution the parameters of which are the Jan-Teller bond constants. The work results serve as a scienstific base for development of the conceptions about microscopic mechanisms forming the energetical spectrum and properties of the Jan-Teller dielectrics necessary for design of the different devices of the quantum electronics.Available from VNTIC / VNTIC - Scientific & Technical Information Centre of RussiaSIGLERURussian Federatio
