RESOURCE-SAVING LINING COMPOUNDS AND MOULDING SANDS IN METALLURGICAL FOUNDING

Abstract

There the study objects are the hot pig iron, the lining compounds, the moulding sands, the metal-phosphate binding conpositions. The purposes are to improve the properties of known compositions, to develop the new compositions, to control the properties of metal-phosphate lining compounds, of sands, of production process of castings with the application of hot iron of blast-furnace smelting. The mechanisms of solidification and of failure kinetics of cold-solidifying metal-ceramic lining compounds at the use of hot pig iron in the machine-building have been ascertained; the arising mechanism of cracks and of brittleness in the monolith layer of lining has been offered. The mathematical formulae, which describe the processing method of hot iron of blast-furnace smelting, have been obtained. The new compositions of metal-ceramic metallurgical linings have been developed; their classification has been refined; the compositions of magnetite moulding sands and of maggemitomagnesite moulding sands have been improved. The computer program for the development, for the optimization of compositions, of properties and of industrial application process of lining compounds and of moulding sands has been obtained. The mathematical simulators of processing method of hot blast-furnace iron, the resource-saving production process of castings, which is safe according to the ecology, have been introduced. The consumption of in-wall brick, of energy has been decreased by 30 - 37%; the service life of linings has been risen 1,5 - 2 times; the casting scrap has been reduced, their properties have been increased by 30%Available from VNTIC / VNTIC - Scientific & Technical Information Centre of RussiaSIGLERURussian Federatio
