INFRA-RED SPECTROSCOPY OF CONDUCTING LAMINATED STRUCTURES

Abstract

YBa*002Cu*003O*007*00-*00 *00d*00e*00l*00t*00a*00 high temperature superconductor, Nb, Cu, Mo, W, Ni, Ti superthin metallic films are considered in the paper aiming at the new method development for the IR-spectroscopy - phase spectroscopy of surface electromagnetic waves (SEW) and the investigation of new materials and superthin metallic films by the complex of IR-methods. As a result YBa*002Cu*003O*007 optical constants in 10 mu m field have been determined on characteristics of the SEW propagation. Oscillations of optical and electric properties of superthin metallic films at the modification of a thickness, connected with quantum dimensional effects, have been detected. The new method for the IR-spectroscopy - phase spectroscopy of SEW has been developed. Its application has been extended on the field of low temperatures.Quantum dimensional effects must be taken into account at the development of multilayer structures on the base of superthin metallic films.
