Simulation of processes of ordering and particles transfer in some quasi-two-dimensional systems

Abstract

Subject of inquiry: surfaces of semiconductors, high-temperature superconductors, lattices of quasi-two-dimensional (QTD) type. The aim of the work: simulation of the processes of ordering of dimers, ions, oxygen; influence of oxygen ordering on electron properties of high-temperature superconductors, diffusion processes. Monte Carlo methods of numerical simulation have been used. The work covers the designing of phase diagrams of dimers and oxygen ions ordering. An intermediate phase structure on the surface (001) has been disclosed.
