High-viscous materials rheological tests using tension and compression plastoviscosimeters

Abstract

Subject of inquiry: high-filled, high-viscous disperse systems. The aim of the work is to develop methods and to design experimental devices for determination of rheological and processign characteristics of high-viscous disperse materials. Theoretical dependences have been obtained for constants determination within the framework of various rheological laws when liquid flows in tension and compression streams. Methods and devices have been elaborated to carry out their experimental application. The developed methods and devices allowed to carry out the determination of key rheological and processing characteristics of high-filled high-viscous materials. The technique for determining key rheological parameters of high-filled suspensions has been put into practice at Gubakhinskij Biochemical Factory.
