Abstract

The investigation is concerned with kinetics of phase transformations and diffusion in iron-carbon alloys on fast heating. The aim of the investigation is to apply the synergetic approach to analyze the phase transformations in iron-carbon alloys on fast heating. It has been established that iron-carbon alloys on fast heating reveal properties of the synergetic systems; a kinetic model of polymorphic transformation has been proposed; a spectrum of energy of activation of the lattice thermofluctuation reconstruction has been studied.
