INVESTIGATION OF BOUNDARY-VALUE PROBLEMS IN FIELDS OF HELMHOLTZ RESONATOR TYPE

Abstract

Boundary-value problems for Helmholtz equations and systems of Maxwell equations in fields of trap type are considered in the paper aiming at the investigation of asymptotics of solution analytical continuation poles. As a result the existence of poles with a small imaginary part for the Helmholtz resonator and its analogs has been proved. Complete asymptotics of poles on a small parameter have been constructed. Explicit formulae for main members of asymptotics have been obtained. The methods, developed in the paper, and their results are being used in acoustics and electrodynaics.
