Abstract

Helium, optical waveguides from silicate glass and quartz, polycrystalline media have been investigated in the paper. As a result new models of relaxation and transfer of excitation energy in helium and the glass-fibrous media have been developed. The multilevel model of the excitation energy transfer has been suggested for the first time. The new class of optical waveguides with a hybrid profile of a refraction index has been suggested, investigated and introduced into operation for the first time. New devices have been created.
