Alimentary modification of age changes in lipoid metabolism characteristics

Abstract

The object of investigation is disclosure of the role of undernurishment in the initiation anl development of age changes in lipoid metabolism and finiding ways of alimentary modification of these chages. The researchers have disclosed the principle potentiality of preventing development of age changes in lipoid metabolism by using alimentary means, determined the age changes in the basic characteristics of lipoid metabolism in rats of the "August" line, developed and promoted methodical recommendations for rationalizing nutrition of elderly people for genontologists and geriatrians. The obtained results allow raising the effectiveness of dietetics and pharmacltherapy of elderly people suffering from dyslipoproteidemia, diminishing the frequency and pronouncedness of dyslipodemia and rationalizing nutrition.
