The object of investigation: Y, La, Lu, Eu, Gd, Tb, Du, Ho, Er. The purpose of the work: the experimental study of the temperature and field dependences of Yung's module E and internal friction Q*99-*991 and theoretical analysis of the obtained data. For the first time, the systemic analysis of the experimental data by the Yung's module and internal friction of the rare metals within the solid body model and the quantum set of the anharmonic oscillators has been performed.
