INFLUENCE OF GRAIN ORIENTATION ON PROPERTIES OF MATERIALS

Abstract

There the influence of primary crystal orientation on the Physico-Mechanical Properties of Grain-Oriented Materials (PMPGOM) has been studied by theory and by experiment. The forming mechanisms of grain orientations in working of monocrystals in the stress fields and in the temperature patterns have been ascertained. The necessary magnetic properties in the iron - nickel - copper alloy without expensive cobalt components have been obtained by varying of grain orientation and number of magnetic and non-magnetic phases in process of heat machining. The production process of high-alloy iron - silicon and iron - aluminium magnetically soft compounds of (111)(112) grain orientation, which provides for risen plasticity, has been found. The rationality of use of Voigt's and Royce's manners to average the PMPGOM of each macro- and micro-symmetry has been grounded.
