Aquarius X-PRO Entwicklung einer zweistufigen Heisswasserrakete

Abstract

In order to realize an economic, environmental harmless and easy to handle experimental rocket for education and research purposes, a 2-stage hot-water-rocket was developed and constructed. The project should give participating students an impression of the difficulties to reduce theoretical knowledge to practice and illustrate the basics of rocket technology. Calculation methods for design of hot-water-rocket are explained. After the description of the project management follows a short introduction of function principles concerning hot-water-jets. Single assemblies are described under consideration of alternative and actual realised designs. Finally the flight data of the rocket are numerically calculated.
