Abstract

The Institute of Flight Guidance of the German Aerospace Research Establishment (DLR) has developed a knowledge-based Health and Fault Management System (HFM) for the Robotic Technology Experiment (ROTEX) of the D-2 Spacelab Mission. The experiences gained with the HFM System during the development and especially during the Spacelab mission are described in this report.
