Abstract

The state of investigations at the beginning of this project is elaborated and reviewed in appendix B of our report. The main result of this review may be summarized in the statement, that dynamical models based on systems of differential equations are most suitable for the description of the behaviour of ecosystems, which are affected by external influences of the environment. The objective of this project was to obtain some concepts for modelling successions of crops which consist, in particular, of winter wheat, winter barley, and winter rape.
