Revocable gifts and estoppel

Abstract

An article suggesting that revocable gifts in the context of not only testamentary promises, but also secret trusts and death bed gifts, are capable of binding the testator/donor in circumstances where the intended beneficiary has acted on the faith of the gift in such a way as to raise an estoppel in his favour
