In April 1997, Pauline Hanson, whose maiden spech to Parliament as the Member for Oxley, had scandalised many with its seemingly racist content, announces the creation of One Nation, her new political party. In conjunction, she releases 'The Truth', a book setting out her views on aborignes, migration, the gun debate and all manner of things. Prime Minister Howard, who is desperate to win to his cause all those One Nation supporters, may well find what he requires in the pages of Hanson's book.--Information provided by Geoff Pryor
