A (RE)ORGANIZAÇÃO DO ESPAÇO EM GUAÍRA APÓS O FIM DAS SETE QUEDAS

Abstract

This article analyses the space (re) organization in themunicipality of Guaíra – PR after the formation of Itaipu Lakewith consequent immersions of the “Sete Quedas”. Due tothe socio-environmental impact caused by the flood, a newphase of development is going to be implemented in Guaírabased on the Directory Plans of 1980 and 1992, reorganizingthe geographic area of Guaíra in a corollary way.Este artigo analisa a (re)organização do espaço no municípiode Guaíra/PR após a formação do Lago de Itaipu, com a conseqüenteimersão dos saltos das “Sete Quedas”. A partir do impactosocioambiental promovido pelo alagamento, uma novafase de desenvolvimento vai ser implementada em Guaíra combase nos Planos Diretores de 1980 e 1992, reorganizando,em corolário, o espaço geográfico de Guaíra
