Applications in future teachers' student life

Abstract

Upotreba tehnologije postala je svakodnevna pojava u društvu. Nagli razvoj tehnologije doveo je do izrade raznih mobilnih i web aplikacija. Pojava mobilnih uređaja omogućila je korištenje aplikacija bilo kada i bilo gdje. Danas je moguće pronaći aplikaciju za gotovo svaku aktivnost koju obavljamo u slobodno vrijeme. Aplikacije nam mogu omogućiti brže i lakše obavljanje same aktivnosti. Kako postoje brojne aplikacije za obavljanje iste aktivnosti, svaki korisnik odabire onu koja najviše zadovoljava njegova očekivanja, odnosno onu koja mu najviše odgovara. Ovaj rad usmjeren je na upotrebu mobilnih i web aplikacija u slobodno vrijeme budućih učitelja. U istraživanju su sudjelovala 202 buduća učitelja koji se školuju na Fakultetu za odgojne i obrazovne znanosti u Osijeku. Svrha ovoga rada bila je utvrditi koje mobilne i web aplikacije budući učitelji koriste u slobodno vrijeme te koliko često ih koriste, odnosno kolika je zastupljenost aplikacija za slobodno vrijeme u njihovom studentskom životu. Također se željelo saznati koriste li budući učitelji češće mobilne ili web aplikacije te postoji li povezanost između godina studija ispitanika i korištenja aplikacija za slobodno vrijeme.The usage of technology has become an everyday phenomenon in society. The rapid development of technology has led to the development of various mobiles and web applications. The constant availability of mobile devices has made it possible to use applications anytime and anywhere. Applications allow us to perform any activity faster and easier. As there are numerous applications for performing the same activity, each user has the ability to choose the one that best meets his expectations or the one that suits him best. This paper focuses on the usage of mobile and web applications in free time of future teachers. This research was conducted with the help of 202 future teachers from the Faculty of Education in Osijek. The aim of this study was to determine which mobile and web applications future teachers use in their free time and how often they use them, respectively how much they use leisure time applications in their student life. Also, they wanted to find out whether future teachers use mobile or web applications more often and whether there is a connection between the years of studying of the respondents and the usage of leisure applications
