New possibilities of treatment of ovarian cancer

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na využití nových poznatků v léčbě ovariálního karcinomu. V práci jsou shrnuty současné poznatky o etiopatogenezi, symptomatologii a diagnostice karcinomu ovaria. Práce se dále věnuje jak standardní, tak cílené léčbě ovariálního karcinomu, včetně problematiky vzniku chemorezistence a následné prognózy onemocnění. Detailně jsou zde popsány zejména možnosti cílené léčby, které zahrnují inhibici angiogeneze, imunoterapii a v neposlední řadě také inhibici transdukčních kaskád spojených s karcinomem ovaria.This bachelor thesis focuses on the application of new knowledge for the treatment of ovarian cancer. The thesis summarizes current knowledge about the etiopathogenesis, symptomatology and diagnosis of ovarian cancer. It also deals with both standard and targeted treatment of ovarian cancer, including the issue of chemoresistance and subsequent prognosis.
