Black pigments throuh the centuries

Abstract

Ideja diplomskog rada bila je prikazati osnovne značajke pigmenata iz kojih se kroz povijest razvijala uporaba boja i kolorita u umjetnosti. Tijekom pisanja rada, zbog opširnosti teme, poseban je naglasak stavljen na crne pigmente, boje i tinte jer je dobiveni predmet, koji je podvrgnut konzervatorsko-restauratorskom tretmanu, prikaz laviranim crnim tušem na papiru autora Waltera Hoefnera. U drugom dijelu rada prikazani su postupci obnove predmeta. Tijekom pisanja rada navedene su i saznate činjenice o uporabi boja i pigmenata u konzervatorsko-restauratorskoj struci i problematika crnih boja i pigmenata na predmetima papirne građe.The idea of master's thesis was to show the basic characteristics of pigments from which the use of color and color in art has evolved through history. During the writing of the thesis, due to the broadness of the subject, a special emphasis was placed on black pigments, colors and inks because the obtained object, which was subjected to the conservation and restoration treatment, was black ink lavee Walter Hoefner's paper artwork. In the second part of the thesis, the procedures for restoring object are presented. During the writing of the thesis, facts have been found about the use of color and pigments in conservation and restoration profession and issues of black color and pigment on paper material
