Abstract

The Historical Booklets sériés was founded in 1953 and thirty-four titles hâve appeared to date. Aimed at the general reader, the teacher, the high-school student, and the undergraduate as much as at the historical specialist, the booklets deal with specific historical themes and figures, are written by recognized experts in their fields, and include the results of the latest research.La série des brochures historiques fut fondée en 1953 et trente-quatre titres sont parus à date. Ces brochures, qui visent tout autant le grand public que les enseignants, les étudiants du socondaire, du CEGEP et de l'université, traitent de thèmes et de personnages historiques précis et sont rédigées par des spécialistes communiquant les résultats de leur plus récente recherche
