PENURUNAN DERAJAT NYERI KAKI (FACITIS PLANTARIS) DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MEDIAL ARCH SUPPORT PADA IBU HAMIL TRIMESTER III DI DESA KARANGUDI, NGRAMPAL, SRAGEN

Abstract

Abstract: Pregnancy, Degree Of Leg Pain, Medial Arch Support. Pregnancy is a natural process for a woman, a time when going through many changes to bring the embryo/ fetus in her womb. The changes that occur in women during normal pregnancy is followed physiological pathological process that could threaten the state of the mother and fetus. Prosthetic orthotic an attempt by health care professionals, who are responsible for the health of clients who have deformities, by providing services such as tool-making activity/ mobility, manufacture amplifier/ buffer body, and the body's manufacture of replacement limbs.  The purpose of this study was to determine the degree of pain reduction in the use of medial arch support to pregnant women in the third trimester. This study was conducted on 30 patients with third trimester pregnant women, it is based on the opinion Sugiyono (2003) which states that the research will use statistical analysis, the smallest sample size is 30 respondents. Samples were selected by purposive sampling method (sampling with the goal) is to retrieve data in the third trimester pregnant women in cooperation with the karangudi village midwife. Measuring tool used is the scale VDS (Verbal Descriptor Scale). Wilcoxon hypothesis test results in group I obtained p = 0.001 and group II was obtained p = 0.046. Hypothesis with Mann Whitney test was obtained p = 0.029. So that there are differences influence the results obtained medial arch support and without the use of medial arch support in third trimester pregnant women for 2 weeks. The conclusion that the medial arch support can reduce the degree of sescara significant leg pain, and medial arch support better in lowering the leg pain at third trimester pregnant wome
