Background: Problem Solving (solving the problem), which is an effort to remove barriers / problems that are characteristic of planning. There are 6 steps needed in solving a problem is defining the problem, causal analysis, identifying solutions, choosing the best solution, develop a plan of action, implementation and evaluation of solutions. Installation in Medical Record Hospital Center TNI-AU dr. S. Hardjolukito Yogyakarta is known there are still issues that have not finished which can result in disruption of service quality and the inhibition of the work done by the officers. Therefore, in this study will be to evaluate the solution in Problem Solving in Medical Record Installation RSPAU dr. S. Hardjolukito Yogyakarta. Objective: To determine the implementation of the solution in the Problem Solving in the Installation Medical Record Hospital Center TNI-AU dr. S. Hardjolukito Yogyakarta. Methodology: This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach and uses cross-sectional study design. The study subjects consisted of four officers and medical records this research object in Problem Solving solution that is in the Installation Medical Record Hospital Center TNI-AU dr. S. Hardjolukito Yogyakarta. Results: This study shows that existing solutions have not all implemented properly. Policies such as queuing system and its use are still made in the form of oral, observation or periodically sweep at the storage (filing) is done not by students but the medical records officer vendors, officers have not been given specific training related to storage (filing) and assembling , coding and indexing. Barriers that occur in the storage (filing) is exhausted by the officers after work to be because they can not make observations periodically and have not patented the job description that exist for each officer. Barriers that occur in the processing of medical data (assembling, coding and indexing) that is not patented job description that exist to each of the officers so that there is no officer in charge in full. Barriers that occur in the reporting of the clinic staff always give a lot of reasons that collecting overdue reports and special reporting computer sometimes used by other officers to work
