PERECANAAN DAN PENGENDALIAN PRODUKSI UNTUK MEMINIMALKAN BIAYA PRODUKSI DENGAN METODE ECONOMIC PRODUCTION QUANTITY MULTI ITEM DI CV. FAJAR TEKNIK SEJAHTERA

Abstract

ABSTRAKCV. Fajar Teknik Sejahtera merupakan perusahaan yang bersifat mass production yang memproduksi beberapa jenis produk karet seperti belt conveyor, O-ring seal, LPG shield. Semakin meningkatnya permintaan konsumen dari waktu ke waktu terutama untuk jenis produk belt conveyor membuat perusahaan berproduksi semaksimal mungkin, sehingga seringkali menyebabkan terjadinya penumpukan produk di gudang. Penumpukan. produk ini dapat mengakibatkan tingginya biaya produksi yang dikarenakan tingginya biaya simpan dari jumlah produksi yang tidak terkendali tersebut. Selain itu penumpukan juga menyebabkan bertambahnya kerusakan produk yang disimpan. Keadaan ini membuat perusahaan tidak bisa memperoleh keuntungan yang maksimal karena produksi yang tidak terencana dan terkontrol. Untuk data penelitian Produk yang diteliti adalah Belt Conveyor lebar (0,5 meter), Belt Conveyor lebar (1meter), dan Belt Conveyor lebar (1,5 meter) Data produksi yang diambil bulan Januari 2013 – Desember 2013 Data permintaan yang diambil bulan Januari 2013 – Juni 2014Variabel Bebas data produksi yang diambil bulan Januari 2013 – Desember 2013, Data permintaan yang diambil bulan Januari 2013 – Juni 2014, biaya produksi, biaya simpan, biaya set up per run dan Variabel Terikat total biaya persediaan yang minimum. Dengan adanya masalah tersebut, maka diadakan penelitian perencanaan dan pengendalian produk belt conveyor untuk meminimalakan total biaya kesediaan. Total biaya persediaan pada periode periode Januari 2013 – Desember 2013 diperoleh total biaya persedian sebesar Rp. Rp. 127.361.078, sedangkan dengan menggunakan metode EPQ didapatkan total biaya persedian sebesar Rp. 102.086.643,-.
