An automatic diagnostic support system of Parkinson\u27s disease using tri-axial acceleration analysis

Abstract

We have measured tremor by using a single axial accelerometers to build a system while can support diagnosis of tremor disease (mainly Parkinson\u27s Disease) . But this time we measured the tremor of patients with tri-axial accelerometers to obtain more effective data, and the discrimination of Parkinson\u27s disease was tried by some methods. We used some parameters thought to be useful for discrimination of tremor disease. As the result the percentage of correct discrimination 83.3% was obtained
