Abstract
Teorijski dio rada opisuje WC-Co tvrde metale, njihov postupak proizvodnje, mehanička svojstva i područje primjene. Također su opisani i mehanizmi trošenja reznih alata od tvrdog metala s naglaskom na adheziju i formiranje naljepka na tvrdom metalu. Eksperimentalni dio rada opisuje ispitivanja adhezijskog trošenja na uzorcima od tvrdog metala uz primjenu emulzije za hlađenje i podmazivanje. Ispitivanje se provelo na tri uzorka; WC tvrdi metal sa 5% kobalta (WC-5Co), 10% kobalta (WC-10Co) i 15% kobalta (WC-15Co). Protupar za adhezijsko ispitivanje bio je vanjski prsten igličastog ležaja napravljen od čelika za ležajeve oznake 100Cr6. Kroz provedeno ispitivanje određena je sila trenja i faktor trenja za uzorke tvrdog metala različitog sadržaja kobalta.The theoretical part of this paper describes the WC-Co hardmetals, their manufacturing process, mechanical properties and application area. Moreover, it describes the of wear mechanisms in cutting tools made of hardmetal with emphesis on adhesion and the formation of a Built up edge on hardmetals. The experimental part of this paper describes the testing of adhesion wear on samples made of hard metal with the application of a medium for lubrication and cooling. The testing was conducted on three samples; WC hardmetal with 5% cobalt (WC-5Co), 10% cobalt (WC-10Co) and 15% cobalt (WC-15Co). The counterpart for adhesion test was an outer roller bearing ring made of steel used for bearings desiganted as 100Cr6. Frictional force and coefficient of friction were measured during testing for hardmetal samples with different content of cobalt
