Abstract

The model of agriculture still practiced continues to cause negative impacts as the loss of ground, geneticerosion, contamination of the ground and the water between many other effect. Considering this scene, it wasobjective to know the socioenvironmental reality of the Guapirama settlement, in the city of Campo Novo doParecis and to verify if he is being carried through the agroecological transition in the family units of thesettlement. The employed methodology was to the systematic and not participant comment, interviews withproducers and technician. They had been evidenced that the agriculture developed in the nesting is highlydependent of external incomes to the property, field of soybean and corn where great amounts of agrochemicaland techniques are used that characterize that she is not being carried through the agroecological transition
