ICT enabled Collaborative Learning Approach in the Indian Context

Abstract

The emergence of Information and CommunicationTechnologies (ICT) has brought acceleration in everysector of the society. Similarly, ICT has changed the roleof learner as well as the education provider and providedvarious advantages by providing the collaborativelearning environment with many options like virtualgrouping, peer-tutoring, videoconferencing etc. Thepresent paper attempts to discuss the collaborativelearning approach and discusses its implications on theeducation with the integration in communication andsharing where the learning process can be initiated withthe different locations during the same time or with thesame location during different time or with the differentlocations during the different time
