These three documents describe the various economic activities of Mary Rodman, widow of Capt. Thomas Rodman who died in 1766. His widow, Mary with children were left relatively well off with several pieces of property and a house in Newport. E-2-2 is a note, E-2-7, rent on a farm and E-2-8 is receipt of monies for rent from two pieces of her property.
