Effects of density fluctuations on Supernova Neutrinos: 2ν\nu Case

Abstract

We have studied the effects of density fluctuations on supernova neutrinos for a 2ν\nu system from a future galactic supernova. A wide range of density fluctuation levels have been considered and it has been shown that for the most recent neutrino parameter space constraints, density fluctuations would affect the neutrino survival prbability and the expected neutrino flux. Possible implications of the changes in the flux due to density fluctuations are discussed
