Abstract

Interview with Sir Nigel Frederick ALTHAUS. Born 28 September 1929, London. Educated at Eton and Magdalen College, Oxford. Father was Deputy Chairman of the Stock Exchange. Sir Nigel joined his father's firm, brokers Pember & Boyle in 1954. Became a member of the Stock Exchange in 1955. He was senior partner of Pember & Boyle in 1975 and became the Government Broker, moving to Mullens & Co in 1982. Date of recording: 20 June 1990.
