The persistence of ethics and the search for solidarity: feminist internet spaces in Spain

Abstract

This article explores ways in which Internet identities address issues of value while also combining virtual forms of identity with older practices. It does this by exploring the ways in which Catalan and Spanish feminist webmistresses are seeking to use the Internet as a medium of feminist ethical agency through the creation of virtual spaces and the promotion of solidarities that negotiate virtual and RL (real life) boundaries, including the geographical boundary of Europe
