Abstract. The topological theory of dicritical divisors is algebracized which makes it valid for nonzero characteristic as well as mixed characteristic. Section 1: Introduction. For any quasilocal ring S, i.e., (commutative) ring with a unique maximal ideal M(S), let HS: S → H(S) = S/M(S) denote the residue class epimorphism.
