Abstract

Chiang Ching-kuo'During the summer of 1943 Chiang often stayed at the school [school for orphans called New Village School]. He would rise at dawn with the students and lead them in calisthenics and then on a mad dash into the cold river (p. 109).'Taylor, J. (2000).
