Robust Beamformer via Steering Vector Calibration Using Iterative Second-order Cone Programming ⋆

The problem of steering vector (SV) mismatch for the robust beamformer design is considered and a SV calibration method is proposed in this paper. The proposed technique can obtain the SV directly and efficiently by iterating second-order cone programming. The proposed beamformer avoids the equality constraints in the conventional method, thus more degrees of freedom are saved. Moreover, the feasibility and convergence of the proposed algorithms can be guaranteed
