A Study on the Colors Used in "A Midsummer Night\u27s Dream"

Abstract

When you read "A Midsummer Night\u27s Dream", you will notice that this drama is colored beautifully with a lot of color words such as "red", "yellow", and "green". In those days, there was almost no lighting equipment. So Shakespeare needed to use words very effectively to arouse the imagination of the audience. In this paper I analyzed the frequency of the color words in "A Midsummer Night\u27s Dream"
