Abstract

Photograph (dated September 11, 1940) of a radio broadcast announcing that September 28, 1940 would be designated as "University Day," a civic tribute to the University of Scranton by the Scranton Chamber of Commerce. A key part of the University Day celebration would be a football game between Scranton and Davis Elkins College. In the foreground, Rev. Peter K.
