POLYMER WELDING IN AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY

Abstract

U ovom diplomskom radu opisana je tehnika zavarivanja polimera u autoindustriji. Polimeri su velike molekule od dijelova koji se ponavljaju (monomera) povezanih u dugačke lance. Iako se pojam polimer često koristi kao sinonim za plastiku, u polimere se u kemiji ubraja veliki broj prirodnih i umjetnih materijala s različitim svojstvima i namjenama. Pošto se u auto industriji koriste polimeri za izradu raznih dijelova automobila posvećena je pažnja samome opisu polimera i o vrstama tehnika koje se koriste pri izradi tih dijelova.This paper describe the technique of welding polymers in the automotive industry. Polymers are large molecules of recurring parts (monomers) connected in long chains. Although the term polymer is often used as a synonym for plastics, in polymer chemistry includes a large number of natural and artificial materials with different properties and uses. As a result, in the automotive industry polymers are used for the production of various parts of the car. In this paper, polymers and the techniques used in making these parts were described
