By Gabriel Nima Bermejo

Abstract

It was compared bonding strength of five bonding systems and a self-etching self-adhesive resin cement on root dentin at the coronal and middle third and superficial coronal dentin with microtensile test. Twelve human third molars had their occlusal enamel removed in order to expose a flat dentinal surface, and 42 premolars were decoronated which root canals were prepared to receive a post, after that, they were ground longitudinally to expose root canal, the teeth were divided into 6 groups (GI: All Bond 2 (AB), GII: One Coat Bond (OC), GIII: Excite (EX); GIV: Stae (ST); GV: G-Bond (GB) y GIV: MaxCem (MC). Each one was subdivided in superficial coronal dentin (c), coronal third (r) y middle third (m). Adhesive procedure was carried out according to the system followed by composite Glacier applied in increments. After 24 hours teeth were sectioned in order to obtain 20 specimens per group which were evaluated with microtensile test.
